Play for all.
Founded by two local mothers with a shared vision for creating an anchor space for families in our community and across the region, Children’s Museum of Franklin was brought to life through the time, talent, and treasure of dedicated individuals and organizations across Franklin and the surrounding region. What began as a dream has grown into a vibrant, community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit where children and caregivers can explore, imagine, and connect together.
Located in the heart of downtown Franklin, our 6,400-square-foot space is home to 12 thoughtfully designed exhibit areas that spark curiosity and hands-on learning – from STEM exploration to imaginative play. Built in collaboration with talented local craftsmen and community partners, each exhibit reflects our belief that play is powerful and every child deserves a place to belong.
Rooted in our core values of Belonging, Joy, Curiosity, Connection, and Respect, we are proud to create an inclusive environment where all families feel welcome. Here, play opens doors, friendships take shape, and confidence grows – one joyful moment at a time.
