Every Friday in April
April is Financial Literacy Month!
Four important concepts help young children begin to understand money: counting, pattern recognition, one-to-one correspondence, and learning about needs vs. wants.
Pick up fun ways to explore these ideas with your child during your visit at the front desk on Fridays!
April 9, running 10–11 am
Blow Painting (Air in Action!)
Explore the power of air through playful, process-based art! Using straws, children gently blow colorful paint across the page – watching it swirl, stretch, and move in surprising ways. This hands-on experience builds early STEM skills like cause and effect, while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and joyful exploration. No two creations are ever the same!
Snag your spot ahead of time to guarantee entry over April Break – Saturday, April 18 – Sunday, April 26
Please add a ticket for every member of your party, regardless of age, planning to join us, as it helps us ensure we have capacity for all.

Sensory–friendly hour at Children’s Museum of Franklin is a calmer, welcoming time for families who benefit from a more supportive museum experience. During this special hour, we reduce noise and stimulation, limit capacity, and create an environment where children and caregivers can explore, play, and learn at their own pace – comfortably and confidently. All are welcome!
Pre-registration is required as attendance is limited to no more than 50 guests.
